On the 1st July 2018, Carrington Health merged with healthAbility. The merged organisation is a not-for-profit community health organisation with an independent Board of Directors.

The merged organisation continues to deliver wide ranging, locally delivered healthcare services focused on allied health, oral health, mental health, health prevention and early intervention for people with chronic and complex conditions, including children, older people and people with disability.

We are a not-for-profit organisation that provides individual services and group programs, for people of all ages and abilities.

Our services include general health and wellbeing, child and family health, mental health services, chronic disease management, diabetes support, oral health services and social support and prevention programs.

We partner with other health and well-being community services, to generate community impact and help those who need it most. We have been a part of our community for over 30 years and are proud that our range of services and programs serve people from different backgrounds, walks of life, age groups and abilities.

Our culture is based around our core values of integrity, collaboration, innovation and equity, along with principles of responsiveness and respect, which inspire our work in the community we serve.

We believe that good health is not just about the absence of disease or being physically fit. We take a holistic approach to our services and see that support within family, work and social networks are all key to a healthy lifestyle . That’s why a large focus of what we do is about helping people to reconnect with their community, via our groups, programs and community partners.
