Carrington Health feature in The Health Advocate Magazine

We are very excited to have our innovative IDEAS program featured in The Health Advocate magazine this month.

IDEAS is our Integrated Diabetes Education and Assessment Service – which is supporting people in our community to access the help they need to manage Type 2 Diabetes. The service provides practical education and support to empower participants in managing their health and well-being for the long term.

‘It’s important for people to be involved in decisions about their health—it makes a real difference to people changing their lifestyle and managing their diabetes’

-Carina Martin, General Manager of Partnerships & Service Development

The program has been able to expand across Melbourne’s East thanks to the great work of our partnerships with Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network, Access Health and Community, Inspiro, EACH and Eastern Health.
