Advanced Foot Clinic

Our Advanced Foot Clinic provides specialised foot and ankle wound care. The podiatrists will guide you through the wound healing process. You can also be supported by other available services at Carrington Health, including diabetes education, dietetics and exercise physiology.

The Advanced Foot Clinic works closely with the podiatry department at Eastern Health and will help to organise referrals to Eastern Health Medical Specialty Clinics where necessary.

How do I book an appointment?

Our podiatry services are for everyone.

How much will it cost?

You may be eligible for a government subsidy if you qualify for any of the following:

  • Health care card or Pensioner Card
  • My Aged Care
  • Chronic Disease Management Plan
  • NDIS

Podiatry Fees

  • Initial Consultation $80
  • Follow Up Consultation $65

This is a private billing clinic and payments for consultations are required on the day of the consultation. Private health insurance rebates and easy to claim on the spot payment options available including Chronic Disease Management Plans.

Do I need a Dr’s referral?

You do not require a referral from your Dr to access this service at Carrington Health. However, if you discuss your requirements with your GP, you may be offered a Chronic Disease Management Plan which will entitle you to a subsidy.

Will I get a rebate for my private health insurance ?

If you have extras cover on your private health insurance, we offer easy to claim on the spot rebates. You are advised to contact your private health insurer prior to appointment to discuss your level of coverage.

Do you see WorkCover patients?

Yes, you will require an approved WorkCover Claim Number for us to bill WorkCover directly. Please bring this with you to your first appointment.

What if English isn’t my first language?

We have clinicians that speak a range of languages, including Mandarin and Cantonese. Simply enquire if one of these clinicians are available when you make your appointment.

How many treatments will I need?

How many treatments you require depends on your injury or condition and its severity. Your podiatrist will discuss this with you.
