Caring for your feet can help with improving blood flow and mobility, as well as to assist in managing complications related to Chronic Diseases such as Diabetes. Our Podiatry team provide the following services:

  • Treatment for corns and calluses
  • Treatment for foot and ankle pain
  • Orthotics
  • Wound care/ Advanced Foot Clinic
  • Footwear assessments and advice

We also offer a range of assessment services providing diagnoses, treatment plans, prevention and chronic disease management in the areas of Paedaetrics, Diabetes and Biochmechanics.

Our Advanced Foot Clinic is our Podiatry service that works in conjunction with Eastern Health, to provide specialist foot and ankle wound care.

Do I need a Dr’s referral?

You do not require a referral from your Dr to access this service at Carrington Health. However, if you discuss your requirements with your GP, you may be offered a Chronic Disease Management Plan which will entitle you to a subsidy.

Will I get a rebate for my private health insurance ?

If you have extras cover on your private health insurance, we offer easy to claim on the spot rebates. You are advised to contact your private health insurer prior to appointment to discuss your level of coverage.

Do you see WorkCover patients?

Yes, you will require an approved WorkCover Claim Number for us to bill WorkCover directly. Please bring this with you to your first appointment.
